Buzz Week in Review : Bristol, Levi, Penelope, Javier, Carrie, and Mike

Love is a many splendored thing. It's also a many searched-for thing. This week, several high-profile couples either announced their engagement or got married. Some shared their love with the world, posing for magazines, while others let the news hit well after they said "I do." Here's a recap of the search interest on celebs in love.

Penelope hearts Javier:-
Penelope Cruz and fellow Oscar winner Javier Bardem are married. The pair tied the knot earlier this month, but news of their nuptials just broke this past week. Interest in the talented twosome soared. How high, you ask? Web lookups on "penelope cruz married" jumped well over 1,000% in just one day. Sorry, Javier, but your new wife wears the pants when it comes to Web popularity. Plenty of blogs chimed in with their take on the news as well. According to a buzzy bit from Reuters, the pair joins "a select club of Oscar-winning couples, including Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, Joel Coen and Frances McDormand, and songwriters Alan and Marilyn Bergman." Cruz won an Oscar for "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." Bardem won for his work in "No Country for Old Men."

Carrie hearts Mike
And the love don't stop. "American Idol" alum Carrie Underwood got married to hockey player Mike Fisher this past week, sparking searches on the bride, the groom, and most of all, the gown. Due in large part to a huge spread in People magazine, Carrie's dress was the true star of the search show. Online queries for "carrie underwood wedding dress" jumped off the charts. If you want to know the straight scoop about the dress, check out the exhaustingly detailed article from People. It's everything you ever wanted to know about insanely priced wedding gowns, but were too sane to ask.
