Singer John Legend's 'Get Lifted' Grammy Broken By Nephew, To Be Replaced

The boy broke one of his elder's prized possessions: a Grammy award. Legend made light of the situation when he posted a picture of the damaged golden trophy on his @JohnLegend Twitter page.


According to Legend, some of his followers suggested that his nephew needed stern discipline. But he did not seem upset. "It was truly an accident," he responded. "I'm just gonna have to nephew-proof my apt. a little better."

Within an hour, the R&B star received a comforting tweet from @TheGRAMMYs."Don't worry, we can send a replacement GRAMMY Awards [sic] to you," a representative for the organization replied.
